In 2010, it was report by college campus counselors that 44% of their student clients had a severe psychological problem. This was a dramatic increase from the 16% of student clients reported in 2000. “In terms of issues, there hasn’t been much of a change. Depression and anxiety have always been the top two,” Lauren Weitzmanm director of the University of Utah Counseling Center, shares.
