One of the company’s initial projects was to develop the first device designed to capture several vital signs at once, wirelessly without a cuff, and to display the measurement results in a smartphone app in seconds.

The Scanadu Scout® was a revolutionary investigational device designed to measure blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and pulse oximetry. In 2013, we launched a very successful crowdfunding campaign, asking the public to support our vision and contribute to this innovative project. These backers participated in an investigational study conducted in collaboration with the Scripps Translational Science Institute, which was one of the largest trials of its kind. Data collection ended in November 2016, and a final study report is expected later this year.

We are thankful for the support we received over the past years. The Scanadu Scout® was an investigational platform, and further research and development efforts are required before we submit a device to the FDA for clearance.

We remain committed to bringing innovative technologies to consumers, and we look forward to sharing more in the future.
